Portrait made of memory is a documentary series of three chapters that the regional channel made to highlight the legacies of the winners of the Life and Work award of the government of Valle in 2018: Ospina in cinema, Jorge Vanegas in performing arts and Pedro Alcántara in arts plastic.
Ospina was part of the so-called 'Grupo de Cali', in the company of Carlos Mayolo, Ramiro Arbeláez and Andrés Caicedo. The work of these Caleños in the film industry is a fundamental part of the history of Colombian cinema.
Since then, Luis Ospina has established himself as one of the most important references in national cinema and has dedicated his life to producing, criticizing, promoting and educating the seventh art.
